(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Police arrested a Greencastle woman after a man accused her of injuring him during a domestic fight in September.
Police arrested 45-year-old Wendy Johnson on a warrant for domestic battery.
According to a Lawrence County Superior I probable cause affidavit, on September 14, a man told a Lawrence County Police officer Johnson scratched his face and struck him with an object, hitting the inside of his mouth. He also alleged she pulled hair out of his beard.
Police observed scratches to his chest and right side of his face and he suffered a laceration to his lower lip.
Johnson was booked into the Lawrence County jail at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday where she is being held on a $5,000 surety or $505 cash bond.
