Walmart Super Center In Salem Opens Nov. 16, Fuel Center Now Open

(SALEM) - The New Walmart Supercenter In Salem will open on November 16, the Fuel Center officially opened Wednesday.

The Murphy's Oil fuel station features 8 gas pumps.

Customers can get gas, as well as several other convenient items in the building located on State Road 56 East.

Salem Mayor David Bower says it will be the largest Walmart SuperCenter in Kentuckiana.

There are 92 Supercenters in Indiana and Salem's will bring that number to 93. Walmart employs approximately 35,687 people in Indiana with an average wage of $12.65.

Walmart spent $1.3 billion with suppliers in Indiana.
