Last updated on Thursday, November 10, 2016

(BEDFORD) - Two people were injured at the intersection of U.S. 50 East and 16th Street Tuesday morning.

According to a Bedford Police report, 58-year-old Sherlyn Brown of Mitchell had stopped her 2008 GM Yukon on U.S. 50 in the left turn lane to turn west onto 16th Street.

Also stopped behind Brown's Yukon was John Pourner of Bedford.

Both told police the turn arrow turned green and when Brown entered the intersection her Yukon was struck by a 2011 Kia Soul driven by 21-year-old Adam Briscoe of Bedford.

Briscoe told police he had been driving south on Ind. 37 and approaching 16th Street and doesn't remember what happened next.

Brown complained of chest pain. Brisco complained of head pain.
