Trafalgar Man Killed After Crashing Pickup Into House

(MORGANTOWN) - A Trafalgar man was killed after he crashed his pickup into a house Sunday morning.

According to an Indiana State press release the accident happened at 11 a.m.

Police say 78-year-old Delmer Dillard was driving a 2003 GMC pickup truck west on State Road 252 from Morgantown when he crossed over the centerline and left the roadway.

The pickup continued into a resident's yard until it struck the home located at 8589 State Road 252.

It is unknown at this time the reason the pickup truck left roadway.

Dillard was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, 72-year-old Wanda Denson of Nineveh, suffered non-life threatening injuries during the incident.

Assisting at the scene were: Morgan County Sheriff's Office, Morgan County Coroner's Office, Morgantown Fire Department, Morgan County EMA, CARE Ambulance and Indiana State Trooper Chris Griggs.
