(BLOOMINGTON) - A Milford, Ohio man was arrested after he allegedly stole a cell phone and got into a tussle with employees at the Holiday Inn Express.

On Sunday, Bloomington Police arrested 23-year-old Taylor Long on charges of robbery, battery and criminal mischief.

According to Bloomington Police Sgt. Joe Crider, employees told police they woke up an intoxicated man they found sleeping on the floor of a common area and asked him to leave and later found him hiding in a laundry room.

A female employee threatened to call police and the man took her phone, which lead to the man and a male employee struggling with each other for possession of the phone.

Officers found Long outside the motel at 117 S. Franklin Road and first took him to the hospital because of his high levels of intoxication. They also found the woman's broken cellphone outside the hotel's front door.
