More Than 7,300 Items Collected During Stuff A Bus Event

(BEDFORD) - Residents donated more than 7,300 items to the L.I.F.E. Food Pantry on Saturday during the stuff a bus event.

Crews from Super Oldies 105.5 WQRK and Z102 102.5 WPHZ helped collect the donations and stuffed the TASC buses located at the Bedford Jay C Food Plus store on 16th Street and at Walmart on John Williams Boulevard.

The goal was to stuff each bus full of items and that goal was accomplished thanks to you. It takes more than 12,000 items every month to meet the needs in Lawrence County.

L.I.F.E. Was started in 1983. It is a cooperative ministry supported by over 40 churches throughout Lawrence County. The organization provides emergency food assistance every 30 days and emergency rent or mortgage/utility assistance.

If you did not get to donate on Saturday and would still like to donate this is a list of items needed:

Donations of items for holiday meals include turkeys, butter, potatoes, boxed stuffing mix and desserts.

L.I.F.E. also accepts refrigerated and frozen items.
