(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police kept busy during the Halloween weekend.
Bloomington Police Capt. Steve Kellams says the Halloween weekend is always a busy time of year for police officer.
Arrests from Friday and Saturday totaled 27 arrests.
In 2015, when Halloween was on a Saturday, only six arrests were made.
With the World Series, an Indiana University home game and Halloween all occurring during the same time criminal activity peaked with drug and alcohol and disorderly conduct related arrests.
Halloween weekend kept officers busy on the streets and in the bars.
