(BLOOMFIELD) - A Bloomington man was arrested after he left red marks on a woman's neck and busted her bottom lip.

Greene County Police arrested 21-year-old Dylan Morron on charges of domestic battery and strangulation.

According to a probable cause filed by Greene County Deputy David Elmore the woman suffered red marks on her neck around her throat, as well her bottom lip having a cut and bleeding.

The woman told police she and Morron were arguing and he was mad because he was going to be late for work in Bloomington.

The victim was driving Morron to work and stopped the car when Morron was on the phone with his sister and his mom wanting them to meet him in Bloomington "so they could beat the woman's ass."

The woman told Morron to get out of her car because she didn't want to take him to Bloomington if his mom and sister were going to fight with her.

During the argument Morron threatened that he and his family were going to come back in all black and kill her and her family.

Police say Morron got out of the vehicle reached into the car, grabbing the keys out of the ignition. The victim had a spare key, which she used to start the vehicle.

Once she started the car and started to take off Morron ran back to the car, reached in the driver window and grabbed the keys out of the ignition. He them proceeded to drag the woman out of the driver side door of the car with his arm wrapped around her neck.

The woman says Morron was pulling and applying pressure on her neck when she felt pain and something pop in her neck. The woman who is a level one certified EMS, knew she was in a danger situation. She was unable to breathe with Morron choking her and thought she was going to die.

Morron proceeded to drag the victim down the road, striking her in the face and calling her names.

She was able to break free and started running toward a corn field yelling for help, when Morron grabbed her. She fell and hurt her thigh. Morron the covered the woman's mouth with his hand so she couldn't yell.

The woman again broke free and was able to run away to a house and knock on the door, but no one answered.

Morron walked from the scene, but had left the keys in the vehicle.

The woman drove the car to her home and called the police.
