(BEDFORD) - Oolitic Road from the town limits of Oolitic to Bedford City limits will be closed Monday and Tuesday for milling and paving.
The road will be closed from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m. each day. No traffic will be allowed through during the day.
"The road will be open Monday evening but it will be rough because of it being milled," Lawrence County Highway Superintendent David Holmes says. "Drivers please slow down and use caution if you are on it Monday evening."
Stars Boulevard from U.S. 50 East to State Road 58 will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday for milling and paving.
No traffic will be allowed through during the day. Road will be closed from approx 8 am. until 6 p.m.
"The road will be open Monday evening but it will be rough because of the milling. Drivers will need to slow down and use caution.
"We wanted to get these done during Fall Break as to not impact the schools," Holmes added. "These two roads are part of the Community Crossing Grant Program the legislatures approved in the Spring of this year."
Dillman Road will be closed for paving Thursday from State Road 450 to Beaver Creek Road from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.. No traffic will be allowed through.
