(LINTON) - Linton Power and Light will be planning a power outage for northwest area customers at 11:30 p.m. tonight.
The planned outage is expected to last through the early morning hours, ending at approximately 4 a.m.
A press release issued by City of Linton Operations Manager of Utilities says the power outage is weather permitting for necessary system maintenance and updating.
Some areas which will be affected in the outage include Glenburn Nursing Home, Casey's General Store, Country Porch, Edward Jones and other customers in the vicinity.
