(MARTINSVILLE) - Officials are warning individuals of a local scam.
If you get a call from Martinsville firefighters asking for donations for fire prevention coloring books, you did not get a call from Martinsville firefighters.
Deputy Chief Charlie Fraker says it's a scam. All fire prevention materials are funded through the department's budget.
