Learn About Raptors At Bedford Public Library During Fall Break

Last updated on Wednesday, October 12, 2016

(BEDFORD) - Fall break is October 17-21.

The Bedford Public Library has fun things planned for fall break for all ages, including a special event Meet the Raptors on October 19 from 2-3 p.m.

Learn about the raptors who live at Patoka Lake and see a bald eagle, a red-tailed hawk and an eastern screech owl.

Interpretive Naturalist Dana Reckelhoff will tell how the birds came to live with the DNR and how she cares for them. Also, participants can see and touch feathers from each bird.
