(SPRINGVILLE) - Lawrence County Police arrested three people on battery charges Monday during two different incidents.

At 10 a.m. police were called to a home at 9:15 a.m. in the 1900 block of Spencer Pike Road.

When police arrived they were met by a 33-year-old female victim.

According to Lawrence County Sheriff Mike Branham, the victim told police that 56-year-old David Eicle Sr. and 50-year-old Pamela Brown had left the residence in a silver Cadillac and were northbound on Spencer Pike Road.

A responding officer was able to locate a vehicle matching the description on Sieboldt Quarry Road and was able to identify a passenger in the vehicle as David Eicle Sr.

The officer stopped the vehicle while other officers responded to the home on Spencer Pike Road.

"According to the victim David and Pam came into the residence and Pam tackled/shoved her backwards causing her to fall onto a coffee table and break it," Sheriff Branham says. "The victim stated that while trying to defend herself, she ended up on top of Pam and that's when David grabbed her by the hair and pulled it.
The victim said that Pam also pulled her hair and at some point hit her in the nose."

The victim was able to get away from both of them and that is when Pam allegedly grabbed a broom and started swinging it at the woman. The woman was able to get the broom away from Pam.

The victim suffered minor cuts and abrasions to her face and foot.

During the altercation, the homeowner, who was a witness in the earlier case, called 911 and asked for the police.
After hearing the police had been called, David Eicle Sr. and Pamela Brown left the residence.

Both David Eicle Sr. and Pamela Brown were arrested on a charge of battery.

Earlier Monday at 55 a.m. officers responded to a 911 call from the same victim in the 1900 block of Spencer Pike Road in Springville regarding a domestic dispute.

When officers arrived the 33-year-old female victim, told police that her and her husband Jeffery Eicle had been in an argument over her not allowing him to drive her car because his is a habitual traffic violator and didn't have a driver's license.

The victim and a neighbor, who witnessed the argument, both stated that Jeffrey Eicle hit the victim in the head with a closed fist, knocking her out.

"Officers observed a large knot on the victim's head, however the victim refused medical treatment at the scene, but agreed to go get checked on her own," Sheriff Branham added.

Officers attempted to locate Jeffrey Eicle at his parent's home next door, however he had already left.

About an hour later officers returned to the residence in an attempt to locate Jeffrey, found him and placed him under arrest for domestic battery.
