(BEDFORD) - This year, the Bedford Public Library will honor American military personnel, past and present, again with the Our Heroes’ Display.
Pick up an ornament template and make an ornament to honor your hero. Ornaments from past displays are welcome.
The display will begin on October 17 and remain up through Veteran's Day. Running concurrently with the Our Heroes' Display is the Cards for Our Troops campaign.
Holiday cards donated by Hoosier Hills Armed Forces Families Association will be available for customers to use to show their gratitude with a personal greeting.
Cards to color or create your own design will be available in the children and teen services department.
The cards will be collected after Veterans Day and given to HHAFFA to be sent to our troops.
