Becky's Place Hosting Benefit Auction And Dinner, Saturday

(BEDFORD) - Becky’s Place is a shelter for homeless women and children in Lawrence County.

The shelter is having a Benefit auction and dinner this Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Harp Commons.

Your $20 donation will purchase you a ticket to attend this benefit or you can simply just donate your $20 - or any amount you can or would like to give.

Becky's Place is designed to "provide shelter and create hope" for women and children who are experiencing homelessness and moving toward a life of self-sufficiency.

In 2015, 70 women and 40 children stayed at the shelter. Most individuals stay for an extended period of time.

Becky's Place, located at 1108 5th Street in Bedford, provides woman and their children shelter and creates hope.
