(BLOOMINGTON) - Young professionals are invited to participate in a summit on homelessness and an afternoon service project on Saturday, September 24.
But you need to register by 5 p.m. today.
This summit is open to all young professionals and free of charge.
The day will begin with an overview of the problem of homelessness and plans for ending it, from 9 to 11 am at the Wegmiller Auditorium in the Bloomington Hospital.
Following lunch, young professionals will help landscape and beautify the grounds of The New Hope Family Shelter, on West Second Street.
Registration begins at 8:30 am. Lunch will be provided. Free parking is available in the hospital parking lot at 2nd and Rogers streets.
