(TERRE HAUTE) - A Washington man and Petersburg woman were arrested in Terre Haute Monday after officers located over 11-pounds of marijuana in the car they were driving.
Police say 24-year-old Garrett Morley of Washington and 22-Year-old Stephanie Renault of Petersburg are facing charges of dealing marijuana and possession of marijuana.
The drug had been vaccumed sealed in bags and concealed in the vehicle's trunk during a traffic stop on I-70. Both told police they had gone to Colorado to purchase the marijuana and were bringing it back to Indiana.
The estimated street value of the marijuana seized is $25,000
