(BEDFORD) - A motorcyclist suffered incapacitating injuries and was transported to a hospital following a Sunday accident.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, the accident happened on State Rad 58 East, west of Fairview Mundell Road at 4:23 p.m.
According to police, 26-year-old Zachary J. Bird of Spencer complained of pain of shoulder and upper arm.
Police say, Bird was driving a 2000 Honda westbound on State Road 58 when he came over a hill and started to slow down. He told police his rear wheel locked, causing him to slide off the road.
