Last updated on Tuesday, September 20, 2016

(JASPER) - A 19-year-old nursing home employee was arrested early Sunday morning on multiple drug charges after police say she was found to be sleeping in her car outside of her place of employment.

Jasper police were called to Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper after a report that an employee had been asleep in her car for about two hours that morning.

When police arrived at 12:26 a.m. they found Brittany Woody of Loogootee asleep in the vehicle. She admitted to having used meth.

Police were given consent to search her car and found meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

After being medically cleared at Memorial Hospital, Woody was arrested and taken to the Dubois County Security Center on a felony charge of possession of meth and misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
