(BEDFORD) - The 3rd annual Limestone Capital Half Marathon, 5K and 1-mile walk will take place on Saturday, October 1st.
All races will start and finish at the town square and include a challenging course that only Southern Indiana can offer. Enjoy music and more before and after the race. Commemorative participant shirts for all three events and 3rd annual collector's medals will be awarded for those in the Half Marathon.
A cash purse will be awarded in the half marathon with a special bonus being paid to the top finishing male and female from Lawrence County! Age group awards presented as well. Enjoy the sights of fall and the warmth of small-town hospitality by joining us at the 3rd Annual Limestone Capital Half Marathon.
The Expo
On Friday, September 30th, an expo will take place from 12 to 8 at the Hubler Chevrolet show room located at 4687 Dixie Hwy, Bedford In 47421. As you enter you will be directed as to where to park by one of our volunteers.
This is where all participants will pick up their packet, race bib, and participant shirt. We will also have individuals on site answering questions about the course and other race related topics.
The expo will have multiple vendors in the health, fitness, and wellness arenas. Is our hope that by participating in the expo that the Limestone Capital Half Marathon not only provides a great race for the community but also a format where individuals can put together their health, fitness, and wellness team.
