(BLOOMINGTON) - An Indiana University student was injured Saturday after two personal watercraft collided on Monroe Reservoir.
According to Indiana Conservation officers, 18-year-old Fengkai Han and 19-year-old Liang Xixuan were operating rented PWC's from Monroe Lake Boat Rental and were on Monroe Reservoir Saturday afternoon when the two collided in a nearly head on crash at 6:30 p.m.
Han received injuries to his left ear and a broken left arm. Xixuan was not injured during the incident.
Han was transported to IU Health Hospital in Bloomington for treatment of his injuries.
Indiana Conservation Officer Kurt Kinser is investigating the crash. He was assisted at the scene by Bloomington Fire Dept.
