ISP Eradicate Nearly 500 Mature Marijuana Plants At Old Hoadley Quarry

Last updated on Thursday, September 1, 2016

(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana State Police troopers eradicated nearly 500 mature marijuana plants Tuesday from the old Hoadley stone quarry property south of Tapp Road and east of Bloomington’s Clear Creek Trail.

Troopers found the marijuana plants on seven different plots on the property.

Because of the rugged terrain, a military helicopter hovered over the scene much of the day, directing officers on the ground to the isolated marijuana plots hidden between giant limestone blocks and boulders.
