(ELLETTSVILLE) - Motorists traveling eastbound and westbound will use the westbound lanes of State Road 46’s one-way pair through Ellettsville this Saturday while participants and spectators crowd closed eastbound lanes for the community’s annual Monroe County Fall Festival parade.
The Indiana Department of Transportation has issued a permit allowing the S.R. 46/Temperance Street closure from Edgewood Drive to Paul Street between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Beyond Paul Street, the Fall Festival parade travels along Ritter Street to Sale Street and back to Edgewood Drive where it started.
In case of rain, activities will be postponed until Sunday.
Activities centered at the Marci Jane Lewis Park begin Thursday evening. Friday and Saturday events feature craft booths, food vendors, a commercial tent and music stages.
