BUEA Donates $1,000 To Nonprofit Orgnaizations

(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Urban Enterprise Association board presented checks to two local organizations.

Lee Cuba presents a $1,000 donation to Laura Bailey, director of Operations for the Lawrence InterFaith Endeavor (LIFE) food pantry.

LIFE provides emergency food, rent or mortgage/utility assistance to Lawrence County residents through its offices in Bedford and Mitchell.

He then presented a $1,000 to fellow Lions Club members to benefit the club's ramp project.

BUEA's mission is to proactively serve community needs through collaboration, education, communication, beautification and community development by partnering with local, regional and state stakeholders.
