(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man is faces felony charges after he allegedly inappropriately touched a female minor.
Bloomington Police arrested 56-year-old Ronnie L. Whiteside, Friday on a felony charge of child molesting.
According police, Whiteside is accused of touching a female under the age of 14. Bloomington police and the Indiana Department of Child Services were notified of the incident on Friday after the female victim told school staff. She was taken to Susie's Place for interviews where she detailed the incident, which occurred earlier on Friday at a Bloomington home.
According to police Whiteside has denied the charges.
According to the sex offender registry list, Whiteside was convicted of rape in Bartholomew County in 1994 and was released in 2009.
