29 People Arrested In Daviess County On Drug Charges

(DUBOIS CO.) - Twenty-nine people were arrested following a multi-agency drug investigation in Daviess County Thursday. Warrants were served starting around 6 a.m.

Washington Police say some of the individuals were already in jail when the warrants were served.

Authorities say all of the suspects were located within approximately 6 hours, and arrested without incident. The U.S. Marshals assisted in locating four individuals that were in various locations outside of Daviess County. Additional amounts of methamphetamine, marijuana and a stolen firearm were found during the arrests.

The investigation involved the Washington Police Department, Daviess County Sheriff's Office, the Drug Enforcement Administration, Indiana State Police, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, U.S. Marshals, Indiana Conservation Officers, Martin County Sheriff's Department, Vincennes Police Department, Daviess County Prosecutor's Office and the Daviess County Superior Court.

Devin Bowman- 4 Counts Dealing in Methamphetamine (Level 2 & 4 Felonies)
John McGovren- 2 Counts Dealing in Methamphetamine (Level 2 Felonies)
Lyndon Roark- 2 Counts Dealing in Methamphetamine (Level 3 Felonies)
Joshua Christenberry- 2 Counts Dealing in Methamphetamine, 1 Count Conspiracy to Commit Dealing in Methamphetamine ( Level 3 & 5 Felonies)
Cedric Merritt- 3 Counts Dealing in Methamphetamine, 1 Count Conspiracy to Commit Dealing in Methamphetamine (Level 4 Felonies)
Tabatha Leake- Conspiracy to Commit Dealing in Methamphetamine (Level 4 Felony)
Martha Bowen- 3 Counts Dealing in Methamphetamine, 1 Count Conspiracy to Commit Dealing in Methamphetamine ( Level 4 & 5 Felonies)
Bobby Bowen- 1 Count Conspiracy to Commit Dealing in Methamphetamine (Level 4 Felony)
Joseph Choate- 2 Counts Dealing in Methamphetamine (Level 4 Felonies)
Alexander Meyr- 1 Count Dealing Methamphetamine (Level 4 Felony)
