(BEDFORD) - The White River Humane Society has changed their operating hours to better assist the public.
The shelter located on Pumphouse Road will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and Saturdays, noon to 4 p.m.
Administrative Director Eden Stafford says the new hours will allow the staff to complete kennel cleaning, animal care and administrative duties in the morning so they can better assist the public when coming to look at animals in the afternoon.
