A free cookout for volunteers will take place after the cleanup. Volunteers also will be entered for a prize drawing, sponsored by J.L. Waters and Co., an outdoors store in Bloomington.

Advance registration is required by Sept. 8 for all volunteers at bit.ly/monroecleanup2016. The registration link also includes additional information.

Volunteers must be at least 10 years old.
