Two Hurt In Crash At Hancock Avenue And Ind. 37

(MITCHELL) - Two people were hurt in a crash at Hancock Avenue and State Road 37 Monday morning.

According to a Mitchell Police report, 48-year-old John Harrison, of West Baden Springs,was traveling on Ind. 37 in a 2012 Ford and approached Hancock Avenue at the same time 41-year-old Melanie Sanders was pulling her 2002 Dodge Durango from Hancock Avenue and pulled into the path of Harrison's truck.

Sanders told police she didn't see Harrison's vehicle because a car beside her had blocked her view.

Harrison complained of neck pain and Sanders complained of chest pain.

Mitchell Fire Department, Marion Township Rural Fire Department, IU Health Hospital ambulance and Seals ambulance assisted at the scene.
