(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police are investigating a report that a teenager was sexually assaulted at a party last weekend.
Police were contacted by the 17-year-old Wednesday night. He told police he had attended a party with at least eight other people at a home on the city's south side on August 5. He told police he had been drinking when another male made a pass at him. The teen declined the advances.
The teen got sick and passed out in a bathroom of the home. When he woke he found he was only wearing his underwear and was experiencing pain making him believe he had been assaulted.
Police took the teenager to the hospital for a sexual assault examination.
Detectives have been assigned to the case to investigate the incident.
