(LIVONIA) - The Washington County Sheriff's Department is investigating the possible kidnapping of two Washington County youth by a man in a red, white and blue truck in the Livonia area.

According to social media posts, the incident happened Thursday.

Officers have been working to verify and investigate the case all day long, according to the Sheriff's Department.

As the story goes on social media:

Our two oldest boys were kidnapped by a man in a red, white, and blue truck. He was wearing a mask and camo boots. He had a deeper voice, about 5'7" and medium build. He had a black hand-gun with orange writing/logo on it. This is not the first attempt in the area of children being abducted and I am sure not the last. After the boys went missing we went searching for them, as he pulled just a little ways down our road to a abandoned house in the woods... I guess he heard us calling for them and took off ditching them there so they were able to walk out un-harmed. He was stinking of beer the boys said and he was familiar with the abandoned house as though he has done this before. I am posting this in hopes that someone knows this vehicle and we can catch this guy as he is threatening and abducting children. A short report was filed with the sheriffs dept and I am now taking to social media for help.
Vehicle description: Blue/white/red 80's year extended cab 3 door truck. ( no idea of make or model or plates as plates were missing) beer was in the vehicle and it had a black background bumper sticker with the words "Cool Dude" in white on it.

Gun: similar to a taurus brand black smaller handgun with orange wording on the top of the handle.

Man: medium build 5'7" Caucasian, brown eyes, and facial hair. Was covered in a full mask and dark clothing and camo boots.

Share and comment and put this man away. the two boys were abducted and were later found by the parents near an abandoned house close by their home.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Washington County Sheriff's Department.
