Pianist Craig Brenner To Perform At Spring Mill State Park, Aug. 27

(MITCHELL) - Listen to the jazzy blues, boogie woogie and other styles of pianist Craig Brenner at Spring Mill State Park on Saturday, Aug. 27.

The concert, which will focus on Indiana composers and musicians, starts at 7 p.m. at the Donaldson Shelter.

In between songs, Brenner will talk about the history of the park and about Hoosier composers and musicians. He also will provide percussion instruments and invite young audience members to play along on some songs.

The concert celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Indiana Arts Commission, the 100th anniversary of Indiana State Parks, and the 200th anniversary of Indiana statehood.

The performance is funded through an Arts in the Parks grant from the Indiana Arts Commission.
