(ELLETTSVILLE) - The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a sexual assault near Ellettsville.
Deputies were called to the 7400 block of West Hodge Lane off of North Red Hill Road at approximately 1:20 p.m. Saturday after a report of a disturbance.
When police arrived a woman told them she was home alone when she found two masked men inside her home.
Police say one of the men sexually assaulted her.
The woman was taken by ambulance to IU Health Bloomington Hospital for a sexual assault examination.
Ellettsville police officers assisted the sheriff's department in attempting to locate the two suspects.
At this time, police are not releasing any other information about the suspects or the woman's condition.
The case is under investigation, anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Monroe County Sheriff's Department.
