Metal Technologies Donates $3,000 To Limestone Boys & Girls Club

(BEDFORD) - Metal Technologies donated $3,000 to the Limestone Boys & Girls Club on Wednesday.

Metal Technologies, based in Bloomfield, is a sister company to Bedford Machine and Tool and Bedford Recycling.

Metal Technologies is a tier-two supplier that machine automotive parts to automotive companies such as Ford, Chrysler, General Motors, Allison and Nissan.

For twenty years, Metal Technologies has hosted an annual golf outing as a customer appreciation day and a fundraiser. at Stone Crest Golf Course. For the past three years they have donated their proceeds to Juvenile Diabetes.

Randy Lovelace, New Business Development Manager says this year officials decided to donate the proceeds to local not-for-profit organizations.

This year donations went to: Bertha's Mission, Becky's Place and the Limestone Boys & Girls Clubs.

Jodi Martin, Interim Director of the Limestone Boys and Girls club, accepted the generous $3000. donation from Lovelace.

Martin says she is thrilled with the generous donation and plan to use the money towards the daily financial demands of the club's operations.
