Medora Woman Injured After Crashing Vehicle Into Tree

(BEDFORD) - A Medora woman was injured after she lost control of her pickup truck and crashed into a tree Saturday afternoon.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 27-year-old Michaele Byarlay was traveling east on Leatherwood Road when she lost control of her 1998 Ford Ranger causing the vehicle to run off the side of the road then began to slid and then went off the southside of the road striking several trees before crashing head-on into a tree.

Byarlay suffered minor bleeding to her head.

Assisting at the scene was an IU Health Hospital ambulance and the Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department.
