Man Suffers Neck Pain Following Accident

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man complained of neck pain after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Mount Pleasant Road and Judah Logan Road Thursday.

The accident was reported at 5:28 p.m.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 38-year-old Danny Butcher of Bedford was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection on Judah Logan Road getting ready to turn east onto Mt. Pleasant Road when he pulled his 2014 Gm Sierra pickup into the path of a 1999 Chevrolet pickup driven by 34-year-old Michael Macy of Bedford, who was traveling east on Mt. Pleasant Road.

Butcher and Macy were not injured, but Macy's passenger 22-year-old Thomas Overbay of Bedford complained of neck pain. He was transported by an IU Health Hospital ambulance to IU Health Hospital for treatment.

Assisting at the scene was Marshall Volunteer Fire Department.
