(BLOOMFIELD) - Eastern Greene High School marching band is hosting an Ice Cream Social Thursday to raise funds for the group.
Band Director Cory Chapman says the event will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday evening, and will include two performances by the marching band.
The performances will take place in the parking lot behind the high school, located at on East State Road 54, near Bloomfield.
After the performances, band members will be selling ice cream and drinks in the cafeteria. They will be asking for donations to help fund their future seasons.
The students in Eastern Greene's marching band have been busy all summer, practicing up to five nights per week, from 5-9 p.m.
