(BLOOMFIELD) - Bloomfield School District Superintendent Dan Sichting will not be returning for the 2016-17 school year.
The Bloomfield School Board accepted Sichting's resignation Thursday. His resignation was effective immediately.
On Monday Sichting started his new job as superintendent of Frontier School Corporation in White County.
According to Frontier Schools' website, the previous superintendent, Cathy Rowe, left her capacity to be a principal.
The school board will begin the search for an interim superintendent to fill Sichting's spot until a full-time superintendent can be hired.
