Bloomfield Residents Asked To Participate In Town Survey

Last updated on Wednesday, August 31, 2016

(BLOOMFIELD) - The Town of Bloomfield intends to apply to the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs for a Community Development Block Grant for a Comprehensive Plan and future wastewater improvements project.

Officials with Southern Indiana Development Commission and town officials will be conducting a door-to-door income survey which is needed to apply for the grant funds for the proposed projects. The income survey is necessary to determine if the Town of Bloomfield will be eligible for the grant.

Residents of the Town of Bloomfield will be contacted by Town representatives this week.

The Bloomfield Town Council members are asking residents to assist with the survey process. Obtaining these grants will not be possible without the cooperation and assistance of the residents.

Survey information will be kept confidential, as names and addresses of the residents will not be placed on the survey forms.

Anyone with questions about this survey should contact the Bloomfield Town Office at (812) 384-4114, or Rex Knight of the Southern Indiana Development Commission at (812) 295-3707.
