(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was injured after she crashed her car intentionally on X Street, Wednesday morning.
According to a Bedford Police report, the 22-year-old woman told police she was attempting to commit suicide.
Police say the woman was driving north on X Street from John Williams Boulevard when she drove her 2006 Ford Fusion off the side of the road striking the trees then entered the ditch line where the car struck a concrete culvert before hitting an embankment and coming to a stop.
The woman complained of chest pain and was taken by an IU Health Hospital ambulance to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital for treatment.
