Washington Man Accused Of Molesting Two Underage Girls

Last updated on Monday, July 11, 2016

(WASHINGTON) - Formal charges were filed Friday against a Washington man accused of having sex with two girls under the age of 14.

Washington City arrested 53-year-old Robert Allen last week on two felony counts of child molesting.

According to a Daviess Superior Court probable cause affidavit, police allege that Allen molested two sisters between July 2009 and June 2016. Authorities say both girls were under the age of 14.

The mother of the girls called police claiming molested one of her daughters. During an interview, the second child was questioned and she also told police she had been molested. The girls told police that often Allen would tape their mouths shut with a white tape that he kept up on a high shelf when he was touching them. Police found the roll of white masking tape.

Allen was being held in the Daviess County Jail without bond. No date has been set yet for his court appearance.
