36th ABATE Boogie Kicks Off Thursday

(SPRINGVILLE) - Thousands of motorcycles will descend on Lawrence County for the 36th ABATE Boogie slated for Thursday - Sunday at the Lawrence County Recreational Park in Springville.

The popular festival draws motorcycle enthusiasts from across the U.S.

Gates open Thursday at 8 a.m.

The event will feature legendary performances by Blackberry Smoke with special guest Henry Lee Summer on Friday, night and Lita Ford on Saturday.

Admission: $40 per person (you must be a member of a recognized state motorcyclists rights organization, and show proof, to attend. Admission includes primitive camping, motorcycle parking, and entry to all events. ABATE of Indiana membership available at the gate: $35 single, $55 couple.

No one under 18 allowed, EVERYONE must show ID.

VISA and MasterCard accepted. No checks.

Parking: cars and trucks $10; trailers $5; campers and buses $75; tent camping, motorcycle parking, and shower facilities included with admission.

RV campground spots (some with hook-ups) are limited in availability ($150 primitive, $250 water only, $400 water and electric, $500 front row with water and electric ). Advanced RV reservations are now closed. RV spots can be purchased at the gate. See RV policy at bottom of page*. Reservations allow you to enter on Wednesday, July 15th.

Campfires will be allowed, if it's not too dry.

No pets allowed. No cars or trucks are allowed in the camping area. NOTE: No glass bottles are allowed in the big top tent area.

Shuttles are available to haul your gear from the parking lot to your campsite.

No golf carts or ATVs allowed unless you are disabled and can provide documentation (ie. state issued handicapped registration) and pre-approved.
