(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Fair Board, in conjunction with Hoosier Hills Credit Union, is presenting two popular bands -- Backwoods Bluegrass and Blue Mafia -- Saturday in the Expo Hall of the Lawrence County Fairgrounds as a kick-off to the 2016 Lawrence County Fair.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Students younger than 13 are admitted for $5.

The money will be used to make improvements to facilities at the fairgrounds.
