Parents Reminded To Make Sure Immunizations Are Up To Date Before School Year Begins

(BEDFORD) - North Lawrence Community Schools Nursing Services reminds parents that students must be up to date with all immunizations before the start of the 2016-17 school year, which starts August 11.

The immunizations are required by the Indiana State Department of Health. Information regarding the immunizations can be found on the Indiana State Department of Health website as well as the NLCS Health Services website.

Parents are asked to contact their child's health care practitioner to ensure compliance. Questions can be directed to Sally Summerville (812) 276-3057.
