Last updated on Friday, July 29, 2016

(BEDFORD) - A homeless man was arrested after he allegedly stole a can of air duster from Walgreen and huffed the substance.

Bedford Police arrested 19-year-old Michael Selby on charges of public intoxication, inhaling toxic vapors and theft.

Police were called to Walgreens Sunday afternoon after a man had passed out at the store.

Store employees told police Selby had been in and out of the store several times, but had not purchased anything - however 10 cans of air duster were missing.

Police found Selby outside of the store in the landscaping area lying on the ground with his hands about his head.

When police searched Selby, they found two cans of the duster product in his pocket.

Selby told officers he stole the cans from Walgreens and police reviewed the store's security video which showed Selby stealing the product.

He is being held in the Lawrence County Jail on a $5,000 surety or $505 cash bond.
