Limestone Heritage Festival Parade Scheduled For July 30

(BEDFORD) - Bedford Revitalization Inc. Parade Committee has rescheduled the Limestone Heritage Festival Parade for Saturday, July 30th.

The parade is traditionally held annually on the 4th of July, however due to reports of lightning in the area during parade line up and forecasted for the parade time, the committee made the decision to cancel the parade.

Organizations that have already turned in a parade entry form will be included in the rescheduled date. Those organizations can confirm their participation by emailing parades@downtownbedford.org if they choose; however members of the Parade Committee will be calling all entries throughout next week for status updates on their ability to join the rescheduled date.

The Parade Committee will also be accepting additional entry applications to join the parade for the rescheduled date of, Saturday July 30t .

Entry forms can be found online at www.bedfordinparades.com.

Should inclement weather occur on the rescheduled date of Saturday July 30th , the Limestone Heritage Festival Parade will not be rescheduled.

The parade route and timeline will remain the same, with vendors opening at 10 a.m. on the J Street section of the downtown square. The Flag Raising, National Anthem performance and Grand Marshal Ceremony will take place at 11:15 a.m. at the corner of 16th and I streets. The parade steps off at noon.
