(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Chamber, Lawrence County Economic Growth Council, NSWC Crane, StoneGate Arts & Education Center, and WorkOne South Central have teamed up to help you navigate Crane and the Federal Job Market.
Have you ever wondered how to do business with Crane? Or how you could use Crane inventions to start a small business? How do I get a Federal job? On July 21st you can get your answers!
Here is the schedule of classes you can attend to learn more:
- 1 p.m. - "Doing Business with Crane" - Jason Greer, NSWC Crane A Guide to selling products and services to NSWC Crane
- 2 p.m. - "Using Crane's Inventions to Start a Business" - Brooke Pyne, NSWC Crane & Wes Evans, 5D Analytics
- Resources available for technology-based small business
- 3:45 p.m. - Networking Discussions & StoneGate Facility Tours
- Snacks provide by StoneGate Arts & Education Center
- 5 p.m. - "Federal Employment Workshop" - Susan Stein, WorkOne Navigating USA Jobs website and writing Federal Resumes
Crane Commander, Captain J.T. Elder says it's a great opportunity for the community to get involved and learn how they can align their needs with NSWC Crane as it relates to the workforce. He added it also provides the necessary information for helping those in the community enhance their small businesses, while directly supporting NSWC Crane.
