(BEDFORD) - Bedford will have a new location for the Limestone Heritage Festival Firework display this year.
The community fireworks display will be an all aerial show in downtown Bedford.
Bedford Revitalization Inc. has been working to coordinate the Limestone Heritage Festival activities to a centralized location. Everything is set to take place in the heart of downtown, on the Bedford Square.
This weekend, the BBQ at the Quarry will kick things off Friday and Saturday.
On Sunday, the 2nd Annual Bedford's Got Talent Show will be featured on the Harp Commons Stage at 2:30 p.m.
On Monday, the Limestone Heritage Festival Parade will take place through downtown Bedford and food, arts and crafts vendors and live musical entertainment will be available for the community to enjoy all day long. The Sounds of Summer (Beach Boys Tribute Band) will perform Monday evening on the Harp Commons Stage starting at 8 p.m.
UPDATE: Fireworks in downtown Bedford now scheduled for Saturday, July 2 - due to forecast of heavy rain on Monday. The fireworks display be a part of BBQ at the Quarry's Saturday schedule.
The fireworks display will then light up downtown at dusk.
The fireworks display will be visible from the majority of the locations that the community come out to watch the parade.
