(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was injured after a deer ran into the path of his motorcycle early Sunday morning.
According to a Bedford Police report, 54-year-old John Jenkins of Bedford was driving his 2013 Honda south on Washington Avenue, near 25th Street when the deer darted into the road.
Jenkins was unconscious and suffered severe bleeding to his head and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
