(BEDFORD) - The Department of Labor has announced a rule change to the Fair Labor Standards Act that will take effect on December 1.
The minimum salary floor will rise from its current $23,660 to $47,476.
The Bedford Chamber of Commerce is offering a free Federal Overtime Rules Seminar on Tuesday, July 12 from Noon till 1 p.m.
The seminar will be presented by Christopher Schrader, President of Schrader and Associates. Attendees will learn the material specifics of the changes, the implications for organizations, what organizations need to do now to prepare.
